I have had the pleasure of working in education for 25 years, 17 of these years have been in senior leadership roles, including head of school and SLE for English.

As a senior leader, I have worked across 3 counties and have experience of raising standards in schools in a variety of contexts. I have taken great satisfaction serving communities with high deprivation, including a school in special measures. Having the privilege of working with fantastic leaders to transform a failing school to a good school, with progress being in the top 1% in the country for the department I led, remains a highlight of my career.

I am passionate about providing high quality education and equity for all our children in Orchard Trust and beyond through my role as School Improvement Officer.
